Jonathan Kurz

Jonathan Kurz is a Sr. Principal Scientist in Translational Medicine at Merck, where they have recently commenced a new role as Clinical Director. They earned both an MD and a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they investigated changes in calcineurin activity during their graduate studies. Jonathan completed child neurology training at Children's National Medical Center and further specialized as a Pediatric Neurocritical Care fellow at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Prior to their current position at Merck, they served as Principal Scientist and Assistant Professor at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital.
