Keith Tanis

Keith Tanis is the Director of Systems Toxicology at Merck & Co. Inc., where they lead toxicogenomics strategy and manage pharmacogenomics analysis across the pipeline. They previously held positions as Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Senior Research Scientist at Merck, focusing on the intersection of genetics, bioinformatics, and neuroscience. Keith's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University, where they conducted high-throughput studies of protein-DNA interactions, and as a Research Assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they developed molecular modeling paradigms. They earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale School of Medicine and a B.S. in Applied Chemistry from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
