LaKeila Jackson

LaKeila Jackson, MBA, HRM, is an Employee Relations Specialist currently serving as a Sr HR Business Partner at Merck since 2023. LaKeila has extensive experience in human resources, having worked as an Employee Relations Specialist at WakeMed, and held the position of Sr HR Business Partner at UNC Health from 2020 to 2023. LaKeila began their career at Cree, where they provided HR support to over 800 employees and developed corporate initiatives from 2003 to 2007. They also held HR roles at SAS and APW, focusing on employee relations, compliance, and training. LaKeila earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix in 2007 and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from North Carolina Central University in 1997.
