Michael McGarrah is the Associate Principal Scientist in Bioprocess Drug Substance Commercialization at Merck, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist in Downstream Process Development at GSK from 2017 to 2020, where they led the development of downstream processes for monoclonal antibodies. Michael also gained valuable experience as an R&D Intern at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and an R&D Engineering Intern at West Pharmaceutical Services in 2012 and 2013, respectively. They completed their education at Villanova University, graduating in 2019.
