Nuno Pinto holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, obtained from the University of Porto (2007) and the University of Maryland Baltimore County (2013), respectively. During their Ph.D., Nuno focused on protein purification and various chromatographic techniques. They have served as a research assistant and teacher assistant in multiple capacities at UMBC. Currently, Nuno is the Director at Merck, where they continue to apply their expertise in the biotechnology industry.
