Prashant Shah

Prashant Shah is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as the Director of IT Architecture at Merck since 2016, Prashant leads the design and development of a cloud-based data platform for data science activities across various therapeutic areas. Prior to Merck, Prashant held significant roles at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and Alcatel-Lucent, where responsibilities included architecting enterprise unified communication systems and developing applications for IP management. Earlier in the career, Prashant contributed to telecommunications and defense systems at Telcordia Technologies and ITT Avionics. Prashant holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Stevens Institute of Technology.
