Rojan Shrestha

Rojan Shrestha is a highly experienced senior scientist currently working at Merck since August 2021, with a focus on advanced computational biology and machine learning applications in biomedicine. Prior to this role, Rojan served as a scientist at Pandion Therapeutics and completed a research fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where expertise in protein interface design and the development of reagents for various diseases was demonstrated. Rojan also held positions as an AI fellow at Insight Data Science, as well as postdoctoral researcher roles at Wayne State University School of Medicine and RIKEN, contributing to significant advancements in protein structure prediction and mutation analysis. Rojan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from The University of Tokyo and a master's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Inha University, supported by early experience as a software engineer.
