Sameer Sachdeva

Sameer Sachdeva is a highly experienced Principal Scientist at Merck since March 2025, with a robust background in drug product development, particularly in formulation and process development for biopharmaceuticals and complex dosage forms. Prior to Merck, Sameer served as Drug Product Development Lead at IGM Biosciences, Inc., where the focus was on developing Phase III ready lyophilized IGM antibody drug products, employing Quality by Design (QbD) principles. Earlier experience includes roles at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities spanned pre-formulation, formulation, and process development for a variety of drug delivery systems, as well as leading product development initiatives for regulatory submissions. Sameer holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of the Pacific and has contributed to professional organizations such as AAPS, where involvement included leadership roles.
