Seyedmorteza Hosseyni

Seyedmorteza (Morteza) Hosseyni is an accomplished medicinal chemist currently serving as a Discovery Medicinal Chemist at Merck since February 2025. Prior to this role, Morteza worked at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. from January 2020 to February 2025 as a Medicinal Chemist. Morteza's academic background includes a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Organic Chemistry at Harvard University from 2017 to 2019, a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology.
