Stefano Santangelo

Stefano Santangelo currently serves as Associate Vice President and Global Commercial Leader for the HIV franchise at Merck, where responsibilities include leading global strategy, pipeline shaping, and enhancing commercial success for HIV therapies. Previously, Stefano held various leadership roles at MSD over an eleven-year tenure, including Executive Director and Managing Director, overseeing significant revenue and headcount, as well as positions focused on market access, pricing, and commercial operations within virology and immunology. Prior experiences include roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, where Stefano was the commercial lead for European markets, and Procter & Gamble, where responsibilities encompassed European marketing management and product management. Stefano holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma.
