Steve Cohen

Steve Cohen is a highly experienced scientist in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Discovery Biologics at Merck since November 2024. Prior to this role, Cohen worked at Nested Therapeutics as a Scientist in Structural Biology and Protein Sciences, focusing on gene to protein workflows and managing CROs for protein production. Additional experience includes a position as Staff Scientist at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, and postdoctoral fellowships at Biogen and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Cohen contributed to significant research and educational initiatives. Cohen holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a summa cum laude B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University.
