Steve Liang has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director at Merck since November 2009. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Schering Plough (now Merck) from October 2007 to November 2009. Before joining Schering Plough, Steve worked at Pfizer from 1998 to 2007, progressing through various roles including Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, Senior Research Investigator, and Senior Principal Scientist. Steve earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Georgia.
