Steven Townson

Steven Townson is a seasoned professional in cancer research, having held various significant positions in both academic and industry settings. They earned a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland and completed a certificate in Biotechnology Project Management from the University of Washington. Steven served as a PhD student at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research and later worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. In academia, they were an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and an instructor at Baylor College of Medicine. Steven's industry experience includes roles at Merck, where they progressed through several leadership positions, ultimately serving as Senior Principal Scientist and Clinical Director.
