Subharekha Raghavan

Dr. Subharekha Raghavan is an Executive Director in Discovery Chemistry at Merck, based in Kenilworth, New Jersey, where they lead the High Throughput Experimentation and Lead Discovery capabilities group. After receiving a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Princeton University and completing post-doctoral studies at Columbia University, they joined Merck as a Senior Research Chemist. Over their career, they have worked in various therapeutic areas including Diabetes, Infectious Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, and Neuroscience, contributing to all phases of drug discovery. With a commitment to team building and talent development, Subharekha has successfully led cross-functional program teams and identified multiple high-quality molecules advancing to clinical stages.
