Thomas Cullen

Thomas Cullen, PhD, D(ABMM), is a nationally board certified Medical Microbiologist with a focus on public health, infectious disease epidemiology, microbiome research, and pharmaceutical quality. They served as the Director of Quality Assurance at Merck and have held various positions, including Investigator at Novartis and Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University. Thomas completed a Graduate Research Fellowship at The University of Texas at Austin, where they explored molecular mechanisms used by enteric pathogens, culminating in a dissertation on membrane remodeling in epsilon proteobacteria. They also underwent extensive training as a Clinical Microbiology Fellow at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
