Tom Hartey

Tom Hartey is the Director of AI and HyperAutomation at Merck, where they currently play a pivotal role in advancing the company's Intelligent Business Automation initiatives. Previously, Tom served as a Senior Manager and Product Owner in Robotic Process Automation at Cotiviti, where they established a High Trust automation Center of Excellence and collaborated with various departments on automation projects. Tom has a rich background in data analysis and SQL development, having held positions at Quickcomm and CG2 Direct, among others, where they contributed to significant revenue growth and operational improvements. Tom earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership in Information Technology from La Salle University and holds degrees in Computer Science from both Muhlenberg College and UNSW Australia.
