Virginia Gilbert

Virginia Gilbert has extensive experience in contract negotiation within the clinical research and pharmaceutical industries. Starting as a Contract Negotiator at ICON Clinical Research and Omnicare Clinical Research from 2005 to 2006, Virginia successfully negotiated Investigator Contracts and various agreements. Since October 2006, Virginia has held the position of Director at Merck, where responsibilities include negotiating and executing Early Stage Development agreements, Consultant Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, and Investigator-Initiated Study Agreements on a global scale, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Virginia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College and a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law.
