Wenping Li is a Senior Principal Scientist at Merck and has extensive experience in the field of radiochemistry and imaging research. They served as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck from 2009 to 2015, where they led the discovery of six novel CNS PET tracers. Wenping's previous roles include Research Chemist at China-Japan Friendship Hospital from 1992 to 1996 and Research Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis from 2003 to 2005, where they investigated radiolabeled somatostatin analogs and matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors. Wenping earned a Ph.D. in Radiochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed postdoctoral training in Radiopharmaceutical Science at Washington University in St. Louis.
