Jan De Clercq is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and design. Currently serving as a Project Sales Engineer, Automation and Customer Service Engineer, and Automation Engineer at Merco Machines since November 2013, Jan De Clercq has demonstrated expertise in automation and customer service. Prior to this, Jan De Clercq worked as a Graphic Designer at Odette Design from January 2011 to January 2017, specializing in design, artwork, web, and logo creation. Jan De Clercq also held the position of Head Toolshop Engineer at Culobel from February 2012 to November 2013, focusing on the design and development of tools and dies for the sheet metal industry, as well as engineering projects related to ceramics, robotics, and coatings. Jan De Clercq holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Science, Electromechanical Engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Gent, awarded between 2008 and 2012, and has completed specialized training in Setter Wire Cut Machine at De Ridder TDR in 2013.
