Javier Arteaga Asis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as President of Cómo Vamos in Nuevo León since June 2024, Javier has also been involved with Merco, a regional supermarket chain in Northeastern Mexico, in a business development capacity since March 2003. As the founder of Nimiw, a growth fund established in August 2012, and Microenlace de Mexico, a wireless ISP launched in August 1998 and operational until February 2010, Javier has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation and growth within various sectors. Academically, Javier holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management (2011-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey (1998-2002).
