Fez Zafar

Fez Zafar is a dynamic professional currently serving as Chief of Staff at Mercor and First Marshal of the Harvard Class of 2024 for the Harvard Alumni Association. Elected by over 1,700 peers, Zafar leads and coordinates alumni engagement for the Class of 2024. Previous experience includes working as an Analyst at Village Global, focusing on portfolio support and deal sourcing, and as a Research Assistant to Larry Summers at Harvard Kennedy School, conducting research for the former Chief Economist of the World Bank. Zafar also held an internship in Strategy and Business Development at The D. E. Shaw Group, where evaluation of investment opportunities took place. Zafar holds a Bachelor's degree in Government with a focus on Tech Science from Harvard University, where studies were completed from September 2020 to May 2024. Prior education was obtained at Theodore Roosevelt High School.
