Bernd Goedde

Bernd Goedde is a seasoned professional in the energy trading sector with extensive experience in power, gas, and structured trading. Currently serving as the Head of Long Term Power, PPA & BESS Trading at Mercuria since September 2025, Goedde previously held significant roles at EDF Trading as Head of Long-term Power & Gas Trading and Head of PPA Trading from November 2019 to September 2025. Prior to that, Goedde was the Head of Options & Structured Trading at Uniper and held similar responsibilities at Vattenfall, including a role as Acting Head of Nordic Trading. Goedde holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingeneur from Europa-Universität Flensburg, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
