David Halpren

David Halpren has worked as the Group Head of Accounting at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. since March 2013. Prior to this, they worked at Ernst & Young, where they held the roles of Senior Manager from October 2000 to February 2013 and Manager from October 2000 to October 2005.

David Halpren has a strong educational background in the field of accounting. In 2001, they attended the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) for two years, earning a degree in Chartered Accountancy. In 2007, they attended the Swiss Accountancy Academy for a year, obtaining a Swiss CPA reciprocity. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, David attended Wilfrid Laurier University where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in Business Administration.
