Ed Hayes

Ed Hayes is a seasoned professional in quantitative finance and risk management, currently serving as a Quantitative Strategist at Mercuria Energy Trading, S.A. since August 2023. With extensive experience in various roles, Hayes has held positions such as Principal at Quantum Risk Analytics, LLC, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Business, where expertise includes machine learning and blockchain applications. Previous roles include Quantitative Developer at Natixis Corporate & Investment Bank and Citadel LLC, as well as head of risk at Noble Group. Hayes holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from New York University, an AB in Political Science from Columbia University, and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
