Jalel Zghonda has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Jalel started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne in 2018. Later, in 2019, they worked as a Software Developer at Junior Entreprise EPFL and as a Software Engineer Intern at Eyeware. During their internship, they designed a multi-screen attention detection prototype and developed a plugin for Unity. In 2020, they became a Graduate Student Research Assistant at EPFL, where they conducted research until 2021. Afterward, they joined Firmenich as a Data Scientist from August 2021 to January 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Data Scientist at Mercuria, where they started in February 2022. Overall, Jalel Zghonda has gained valuable experience in data science through their various roles in academia and industry.
Jalel Zghonda began their education in 2011 at Lycée le Père Blanc, where they completed their Baccalauréat in Mathematics in 2015. Jalel then pursued further education at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), starting in 2015, where they studied Mathematics for a year. In 2016, Jalel continued their studies at EPFL and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Systems in 2019. Jalel then participated in the Swiss mobility program at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Currently, Jalel Zghonda is pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at EPFL, starting in 2019.
