Luis Lugo

Luis Lugo currently serves as Vice President and Head of ERCOT Trading at Mercuria Energy America, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Luis Lugo worked at Shell from May 2006 to July 2021, where responsibilities ranged from Supervisor of the South Power Trading Desk and ERCOT Power Trader to roles in the Trader Development Program and engineering positions. Luis Lugo has a solid educational background with an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
