Mark Bosshard

Mark Bosshard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Mark started their career at Vaudoise Assurances as an intern in the accounting department.

Mark then joined BCV and worked for 7 years as a Credit Analyst, specializing in risk analysis for private mortgages and SME corporates.

After that, they moved to RBS Sempra Commodities where they started as a back-office staff and eventually became a senior power operator. Mark contributed to the development of a pan-European scheduling solution and trained new team members.

Currently, Mark works at Mercuria where they have held various roles. Firstly, they worked on increasing Mercuria's reach in the European power markets and later became a Team Leader for European Power and Gas Scheduling. In their current role as the Global Operations Project Lead, they are responsible for compliance technology and has introduced automation in low value tasks.

Mark Bosshard completed their education at Institut de Formation Bancaire et Financiere (IFBF) from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Swiss-certified banking specialist with a federal certificate of higher VET. Prior to that, they attended CESSNOV from 1994 to 1998 and earned a Swiss Commercial High-School Diploma with a focus on business.

In addition, Mark Bosshard has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they received a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® from the Project Management Institute. In 2007, they obtained an IDEX Energy Derivatives certification from the LSE - Italian Derivatives Energy Exchange. Mark also holds a Certificate in Business Accounting from CIMA, although the date of completion is unknown. Furthermore, Mark Bosshard has pursued further certifications, including the EPEX SPOT Trader's Certification and the EXAA Trader's Diploma, but information regarding the institutions and attainment dates is currently unavailable.
