Michalis Karadimitriou

Michalis Karadimitriou has a diverse work experience history. Michalis started their career as a Trainee at Plutofylax Shipping Corporation in 2013. After that, they worked as a Collection Agent at Mellon Group of Companies from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Sales Executive at BOGERD MARTIN. Michalis then joined Mylaki Shipping Agency Ltd in 2018, where they held the position of Disbursement Accounts Officer & Port Agent until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Disbursements/Port Cost Claims Analyst at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A.

Michalis Karadimitriou completed their Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus from 2009 to 2015. Following that, they obtained Academic Certificates in Shipping Finance and Financial Management through online courses at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2016. In the same year, they also enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers to complete the Institute's Professional Qualifying Examinations, earning the designation of Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS) from 2016 to 2018. Later, they pursued a Certificate in Ship Operations at Lloyd's Maritime Academy, which they completed in 2020. Currently, Michalis is pursuing a Master's degree in International Shipping Finance & Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business, which began in 2020 and is expected to conclude in 2022.
