Stephan Biez

Stephan Biez has a diverse work experience in various companies. Stephan started their career in 2002 as a Consultant and Trainer at Altran. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at Sylog Consulting as a Lead Consultant and Project Manager. In 2008, they joined NAGRA as a Senior System Engineer, where they were responsible for Service Delivery of the Corporate Infrastructure and Security Solutions for over 3000 users. Stephan then moved to SICPA in 2012, where they worked as a Senior System Engineer, Project Manager, and Service Owner until 2018. Currently, they are the Head of Platforms focusing on IT Platform & Database at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A.

Stephan Biez pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Aided Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire, which they completed in the year 1998. Stephan furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science - Management and Security of the Business Information Systems from Université Lumière Lyon 2, finishing in 2004.

Additionally, Stephan Biez has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Stephan obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in March 2021. In January 2020, they earned the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. Stephan also holds certifications such as Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Certified Cloud & Security Management / Azure & O365 from Microsoft, Citrix Certified Expert / Cloud & Security Management from Citrix, Devops Foundation Certificate from the DevOps Institute, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), and Project Management Professional (PMP)™ from the Project Management Institute.
