Nate Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fraud and compliance investigations. Currently serving as a Senior Risk Investigator at Mercury since April 2022, Nate specializes in AML and fraud investigations. Prior experience includes over a decade at Wells Fargo as a Financial Crimes Investigator, focusing on AML compliance and transaction analysis. Additionally, Nate contributed to the Compliance and Risk team as a Compliance Support Specialist, emphasizing PEP and sanctions. With a background in performing arts as a founding member of the Curious Comedy Theater, Nate has showcased talent in improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy.
