Shi Chang

Shi Chang is a seasoned background artist currently working at Mercury Filmworks since April 2025. With an extensive career in the animation industry, Shi has held various roles including co-owner and art director at Art Flow Gallery since March 2011, and previously served as a background colour artist at Kratt Brothers Company Ltd. from February to June 2025. Prior positions include colour designer and art director roles at Mercury Filmworks from November 2015 to September 2023, and similar design roles at Jam Filled Entertainment Inc., Kratt Brothers Company Ltd., and earlier experience as a BG painter at Mercury Filmworks. Shi holds a diploma in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University and a post-graduate degree in Classic Animation and Computer Animation from Sheridan College.
