Bill Tallent, Sr. is the Executive Chairman at Mercury Intermedia. Bill has over 50 years of experience in the business world, with a focus on telecommunications and software.

Tallent began their career at Genesco in 1963, where they eventually rose to the position of AVP. In 1981, they co-founded Telco Research Corporation, which quickly became the nation's largest telecommunications software firm. The company was sold in 1986 to NYNEX, which is now part of Verizon.

After a successful tenure at Telco Research Corporation, Tallent founded Critical Impressions, LLC in 1991. Critical Impressions is a digital quick printer that ranked #34 in the nation out of a universe of 32,000 similar firms. Tallent served as the CEO of Critical Impressions for 11 years before moving on to their current role at Mercury Intermedia.

Bill Tallent, Sr. graduated from the 82nd Airborne Division Parachute School and then went on to Harvard Business School. Bill also attended Western Kentucky University.
