Jay Steeby

Jay Steeby has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Jay is currently employed as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Mercury Systems since September 2022. Prior to this role, Jay held the position of Principal Software Engineer at the same company since January 2019. Before joining Mercury Systems, Jay worked at GECO Incorporated, where they started as a Senior Staff Engineer in January 2005 and progressed to roles such as Chief Software Engineer (March 2010 to September 2014) and Lead Systems Engineer (September 2014 to January 2019). Jay began their career at Tucson Embedded Systems Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer from August 1998 to January 2005. Earlier in their career, Jay worked as a Systems Test Engineer at Artisoft Corporation from November 1995 to August 1998.

Jay Steeby attended Colorado State University Pueblo from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
