Cherise Chin

Cherise Chin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and design across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Compete & Conquer at Mercury NZ since September 2024, Cherise oversees segment management, P&L performance, and product lifecycle for mobile and broadband connectivity products. Previously, at Westpac New Zealand, Cherise held roles including Head of Enterprise Design, focusing on enterprise experiences, and Product & Regulatory Design Lead for Everyday Banking, emphasizing customer outcomes and product alignment with customer needs. In prior positions at Genesis and Spark New Zealand, Cherise excelled in customer journey management and Agile development within digital product design and service management. Cherise's background also includes commercial management roles at Level 3 Communications and Claranet, along with early experience in consultancy at Unisys. Cherise holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Otago.
