Gavin Murray

Gavin Murray is a seasoned project and program manager with extensive experience in managing complex initiatives across various sectors, particularly in telecommunications and energy. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Mercury NZ since September 2022, Gavin oversees the integration of Trustpower and Mercury's digital channels. Previous roles include Program Manager at Spark New Zealand, where achievements involved leading a simplification initiative and migrating email platforms, along with significant project work at Mercury NZ focused on customer experience and e-commerce. Earlier career highlights consist of pivotal positions at Vodafone New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand, where Gavin directed large-scale CRM transformations. Gavin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Developmental Studies from The University of Auckland, a BBS in Economics from Massey University, and a Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the UK Navy.
