Julius Marvin Rivera

Julius Marvin Rivera is an experienced Reservoir Engineer specializing in geothermal energy, currently working with Mercury NZ as a Reservoir Engineer for the Mokai Geothermal Field. Prior to this role, Rivera served as a Geothermal Reservoir Engineer at GNS Science, contributing to multiple NZ/MBIE funded research projects and leading a Capability Development Fund project focused on dynamic risk modeling in the energy sector. Previously, Rivera held a significant position at Energy Development Corporation, where responsibilities included leading the asset risk management team and supervising geothermal resource risk operations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Engineering Science from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
