Rob Rankin

Rob Rankin's work experience begins in 2005 with an internship at Rolls-Royce as a Material Resource Planning Controller. During this role, they developed supply chain management skills and worked with SAP.

In 2006, Rob joined PwC as an Accounting Executive for a brief period.

From 2007 to 2013, Rob worked at Black & Veatch as a Marine Renewables Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for project management, team leadership, business development, and stakeholder communication.

Starting in 2014, Rob joined Mercury NZ where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager, Ngatamariki Field Manager, and currently, Head of Projects.

Rob Rankin earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, focusing on General studies, from The University of Waikato. Rob pursued this degree from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at The University of Edinburgh, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering, attending from 2001 to 2006.
