Yoshikazu Watabe

Yoshikazu Watabe possesses extensive experience in cyber security, currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Mercury NZ since June 2022. Prior roles include a Senior Security Analyst at Auckland Council from June 2021 to March 2023 and a Cyber Security Specialist at Linear Stack Limited between October 2019 and May 2021. Yoshikazu's background also includes significant contributions to Spark New Zealand in various capacities from 2007 to 2019, culminating in a role as Technical Team Lead for Cyber Defense Operations in the Security Operation Center. Previous positions were held at Gen-i and Telecom New Zealand, showcasing a diverse skill set in security analysis, incident response, and system engineering within the cyber security domain.
