Daniel Redondo Castilla has worked as a Game Designer for MercurySteam since 2022, Electronic Arts (EA) since 2022, and Otter Worlds Games since 2021. Daniel previously worked as a Software Engineer for MeaningCloud in 2020, and as a Data Engineer for the Instituto de Ingeniería del Conocimiento (IIC) from 2017 to 2020. At Otter Worlds Games, Daniel was responsible for the Game Design of the core mechanics and core loop, Level Design for the first level, and Playtesting and polishing of mechanics. At the IIC, Daniel's roles included researching ways to improve predictive models with machine learning, developing Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines using Gitlab, and developing tools for automating processes using Bash and AWK.
Daniel Redondo Castilla attended Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Double University Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. In 2018, Daniel obtained a certification in JJM120 - Scrum y Kanban para equipos ágiles from netmind. Daniel is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Game Design at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which they began in 2021.
