Dr. Blythe FitzHarris, LCSW, has extensive work experience in the field of clinical social work. Blythe has held various roles in multiple organizations over the years. In 2005, they served as the Director of Operations at PSA Behavioral Health Agency - Art Awakenings. From 2004 to 2009, they worked at Arizona State University as a Faculty Associate/Instructor and later as a Teaching Assistant. In 2009, they briefly served as an Assistant Professor at California State University, Los Angeles. In 2011, they worked as a Program Manager at Arlington County before moving on to become an Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they held the position of Chief Clinical Officer at PSA Behavioral Health Agency. Blythe also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Arizona State University from 2012 to 2020. In 2014, they began working as the Adult Systems of Care Administrator at Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care. Most recently, since 2017, they have been serving as the Chief Clinical Officer at Mercy Care.
Blythe FitzHarris, Ph.D., LCSW, completed their education in a chronological manner. Blythe first attended the University of Mary Washington from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Work at Arizona State University from 1997 to 1999. Finally, Blythe FitzHarris completed their academic journey by earning a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from Arizona State University between 2005 and 2009. In addition to their educational qualifications, they hold a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.
