Mercy Care
Jarrod Rice is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and mental health services. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Mercy Care since November 2016, Jarrod has a background as an Adjunct Professor at Arizona Christian University, teaching courses on Parent-Child Relations and General Psychology from August 2014 to May 2017. Prior experience includes working as a Family Therapist at La Frontera Arizona - Empact SPC, where management of a caseload of over 70 clients was a primary responsibility. Jarrod also interned as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Chaffey Joint Union High School District, providing crisis intervention and treatment for students. Earlier in their career, Jarrod gained customer service experience as a Sales Associate at Sport Chalet. Jarrod holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from California Baptist University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Biola University.
Mercy Care
Mercy Care is a not-for-profit health plan serving AHCCCS members throughout Arizona. Owned by Dignity Health and Ascension Health, Mercy Care has served Medicaid members since 1985. Mercy Care provides access to health care services for families, children, seniors, and people with physical and developmental/cognitive disabilities. Mercy Care also operates as the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) in Maricopa County, which was the first RBHA in Arizona to offer integrated physical and behavioral health services to persons determined to have a serious mental illness.
