Kathy Keane, MHA, CMPE has a comprehensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Kathy started their career at Motorola as a Wellness Manager from June 1995 to May 1998. Following that, they joined Mercy Medical Center as a Fitness and Wellness Manager in December 1998 and worked there until October 2012. Kathy then moved to MercyCare Community Physicians in September 2012, where they held various managerial positions. Kathy was the Manager of Business Health Solutions from September 2012 to August 2018. Kathy also served as the Manager of Clinic Operations of MercyCare Hiawatha Urgent Care from October 2017 to August 2018. In addition, Kathy was responsible for managing the Clinic Operations of MercyCare Endocrinology/Diabetes Services from May 2014 to May 2015. Currently, Kathy holds the position of Director of Clinic Operations at MercyCare Community Physicians since August 2018.
Kathy Keane, MHA, CMPE, completed their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Des Moines University, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Promotion from the University of Iowa between 1991 and 1995.
In addition to their educational background, Kathy Keane holds several certifications. Kathy obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Iowa Quality Center in November 2013. In September 2011, they received a certification in Indoor Cycling from Keiser. Kathy also obtained the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) certification from MGMA in November 2022. Lastly, they earned the Facility Examiner certification from the Medical Fitness Association in December 2009.
