Bernadette Wade is the Chief Advancement Officer at Mercy College. Bernadette has over 18 years of experience in global internal communications, including strategy development, message creation and measurement, traditional and digital media channel development, and internal communications competency development.

Bernadette began their career at PepsiCo in March 1993, eventually becoming the Vice President of Corporate Communications and Global Internal Communications in 2008. In this role, they were responsible for PepsiCo's Intranet, daily e-newsletter to 90,000 employees, quarterly earnings global webcasts, merger and crisis communications, executive communications, senior executive meeting services, and coordination with HR and IT Communications.

Under their leadership, the company's internal communications awareness and understanding increased to 85%. Bernadette also developed a global employee engagement program to drive corporate reputation internally and align messaging with external reputation agenda.

In 2011, they left PepsiCo to join Mercy College. In their current role, they oversee all advancement functions including alumni relations, annual giving, capital campaigns, corporate and foundation relations, endowment, government relations, grants management, marketing and communications.

Bernadette Wade has an MBA in Organizational Behavior from Iona University and a BS in Social Work from The College of New Rochelle.
