Maria Cruzet

Maria Cruzet has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maria started their career as an International Equity Product Specialist at Lazard Asset Management in 1991, where they developed the client servicing sector and interacted with senior management and institutional clients. Maria then moved on to HSBC as an AVP of Institutional Marketing and Client Services, where they specialized in product development, client services, and new business development strategies. In 1995, Maria joined RTTS as an Accountant, responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing cash flow analysis projections, and producing audited financials. Maria then worked as an Accountant at Washingtonville Housing Alliance, where they managed accounts receivables, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Maria later became a Senior Accountant at Fordham University, handling financial reporting, external audits, and NCAA reporting. Maria then took on the role of Associate Director of Finance and Administration at Fordham University Gabelli School of Business, overseeing budgetary and payroll matters. Currently, they are the Executive Director of Financial Planning and Academic Operations at Mercy College, responsible for resource allocation, program development, faculty staffing, and grant management. Throughout their career, Maria has showcased their expertise in financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and client services.

Maria Cruzet obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Fordham Gabelli School of Business in 2015-2016. Maria earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from Baruch College. Maria Cruzet also holds a certification from NACUBO's 2022 Analytics Advisory Group.
