Orla Fitzsimons

Orla Fitzsimons is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and management. Currently serving as the Executive Director for Operational Services, Director of Operations, and Administration and Planning at Mercy University since February 2019, Orla has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities. Prior to this role, Orla held the position of Director Lower Hudson Valley Operations at Junior Achievement of New York from October 2011 to February 2019, and was a Project Manager at Junior Achievement Ireland from August 2010 to August 2011. Early career experiences include serving as an Employment Facilitator at Employability Service Louth and Branch Manager at Grafton Recruitment Ireland. Orla also managed a temporary staffing department at Axion LLC, achieving significant growth in staffing numbers and sales. Orla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Edinburgh Napier University, completed between 1991 and 1994.
