Phoenix Muhammad

Phoenix Muhammad, LMFT, is an accomplished mental health professional with a diverse background in therapy, education, and nonprofit leadership. As the founder of Phoenix Marriage & Family Therapy, PLLC since June 2020, Phoenix also serves as the Executive Director of Center For Strong Families, Inc. since August 2015 and a Professor of Social & Behavioral Sciences at Mercy College since August 2014. Prior experience includes roles as a Marriage Family Therapist at Saint Dominic's Family Services and a Psychotherapist at Steinway Child and Family Services, alongside serving on the board of Advocates For Children - CASA. Phoenix has a strong educational foundation, with a Doctor's Degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University, a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy from Mercy College, and a Bachelor's degree in Radio Television Film Production from Howard University.
