Tom Coughlan

Tom Coughlan, DBA, is a seasoned academic and business professional with extensive experience in higher education and organizational consulting. Currently a Tenured Associate Professor and Associate Dean at Mercy University’s School of Business, Tom oversees academic operations and is a key member of the Graduate Leadership Team. Additionally, Tom holds adjunct professor positions at the University of Bridgeport and Sacred Heart University, teaching strategy and entrepreneurship. As Managing Editor of the Journal of Management and Innovation, Tom promotes critical discussions on business management and innovation. Furthermore, Tom serves as Managing Partner at New Perspectives Group, offering strategic consulting services. An accomplished educator, Tom has also held adjunct roles with several institutions, including Quinnipiac University and Manhattan Institute of Management. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from the University of Bridgeport.
