Allison Huggins

Allison Huggins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international development and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Deputy Regional Director for Africa at Mercy Corps since January 2018, Allison has a rich history with the organization, having held the position of Country Director in several capacities from 2009 to 2017. Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Allison was the Social Entrepreneurship Program Manager at Global Grassroots from 2007 to 2009. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and International Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Environmental Studies, and French from Dartmouth College.
