Angela M. Owen

Angela M. Owen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and communications. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer for Mercy Corps since 2007, Angela M. Owen is responsible for directing responses to emergencies and ensuring the safety of team members in high-risk environments. Prior to this role, Angela M. Owen worked as a Communications Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the CEO at Wild Salmon Center, where successful donor events and board meetings were orchestrated. Angela M. Owen also volunteered as an English instructor with the Peace Corps from 1999 to 2001 and held the position of Account Manager at Full Steam Marketing & Design for seven years, managing various client accounts from inception to completion. Angela M. Owen holds a BA in Communications, English, and Philosophy from California State University, Chico.
