Anna Renfrew

Anna Renfrew is a seasoned policy and advocacy professional with extensive experience in climate, conflict, peace, and governance issues. Currently serving as a Policy and Advocacy Advisor at Mercy Corps since October 2023, Anna previously held roles as Advocacy Campaigns Manager and Campaigns Manager at Action Against Hunger UK from November 2021 to October 2023. Prior consultancy work includes a position at the Centre for Corporate Tax Accountability and Research, and voluntary roles with organizations such as Clean Clothes Campaign and The Circle NGO, where Anna contributed to significant campaigns addressing gender-based violence. Anna also gained valuable experience through various volunteer and internship roles, including communications and engagement efforts at The Empower Project Scotland and mentoring at The Challenge. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in English and Scottish Literature from The University of Edinburgh, a Master of Science in Conflict Resolution and Governance from the University of Amsterdam, and an Erasmus exchange at Freie Universität Berlin.
